Our Spear Chest Rig Gen 2 is a highly versatile platform that is lighter, sleeker, and more modular than its predecessor.

We designed this chest rig to work well over a slick plate carrier or with a backpack. The harness has a lower profile than the original, reducing snag hazards and improving comfort when used under pack straps. The strap also has laser-cut sections for attaching PPTs, hydration hoses, or radio antennae. The harness can be attached to the body of the chest rig using the 1" side release buckles or swapped out with any standard 1" hardware (1" typical loop included).

The main Velcro placard ships with a four-cell M4 elastic insert. Laser-cut MOLLE — three columns on each wing and eight across the front — line the front and sides of the rig to attach additional pouches. The back of the rig is lined with Velcro and is compatible with most industry-standard plate carriers. On the inside, two internal 4-inch woven elastic stretch pouches are large enough to accommodate a wide variety of radios —152,163,MBITR, XTS 5000.

The harness is compatible with several mounting options — side release buckles, G-Hooks — and can be worn in H or X configurations.
